I never thought my first novel, Different, would win an award. That’s bit of a long shot for a first-time author.
I just learned that out of thousands of nominations from all over the world, Different was awarded “Best Contemporary Fiction” by the Colorado Independent Publishers Association. That makes for first place awards, for second and third place awards, and a finalist for two other words.
