Are you open to being more creative this week?
✍️ Writing Tip:
Some doors are best left closed.
Not every mystery in your story needs to be solved. A locked tower can be more compelling than one you’ve already explored. Let the reader solve the big ones, but leave one or more smaller mysteries unexplained. It will keep people thinking about your story long after the book is closed. However, it’s like adding spice to good food. Too little, and it’s bland. Too much, and you’ve ruined it.
🎨 Creativity Tip:
Invite curiosity.
Mystery adds interest and subtle interaction. When you don’t explain, show, or reveal everything, you leave space for others to step in and fill the gaps, allowing them to imagine what they might not have otherwise.
“The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious.”
— Albert Einstein
