Are you open to being more creative this week?
✍️ Writing Tip:
Comfort kills great writing.
If you only write what feels safe, your work will seem flat. Lean into the messy, uncertain, risky, and personal—the places you hesitate are often what keep readers turning pages. Playing it safe may protect you from criticism, but it also robs you of everything vital to you. Write the scene you’re afraid to write—the one that makes your heart race.
🎨 Creativity Tip:
Leave the safe path.
Once you’ve settled into your creative process, take a deliberate risk—try a bold color, an unfamiliar tool, or do something creative with a subject you’ve never touched. Creative comfort may feel nice, but creative risk feeds growth.
“Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one’s courage.”
